Position Overview
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Ardona lab. The scholar will develop and investigate energy-transporting biomolecular assemblies within cellular or physiologically relevant environments.
Salary range: $69, (Level 0-2)
ResponsibilitiesThe position is suited for candidates interested in working at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, and biophysics. The ideal applicant should have experience in the following areas:
- organic material synthesis and characterization
- nanostructure elucidation
- bioelectronic devices
- cell culture techniques
Good organization, communication, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential.
QualificationsBasic qualifications (required at time of application):
Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or other relevant field.
