A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available to work in the areas of cancer biology at University of California, Irvine. The lab focuses on tumor suppressors and oncogenes in regulating tissue homeostasis as well as theirdysregulations involved in tumor initiation and progression. One major focus ofthe lab is the Hippo pathway, which is known for its key roles in organ size control and cancer development.
We use multi-disciplinary approaches including molecular biology,biochemistry, cell biology, structural biology, mouse genetics, and large-scaleproteomics to investigate the Hippo pathway in normal physiology, stress response, and cancer. We are now seeking a self-motivated and independent candidate with excellent research training in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or cancer biology. We prefer candidates who are about to graduate with PhD or MD/PhDdegree or have graduated within the last 12 months. A track record of excellent first author publication(s) is required. The salary and benefit will follow theNIH standard.
