We’re recruiting for two hands‑on Product Managers to join a growing CPG company with a diverse portfolio of consumer products. These roles will support categories within Personal Care and Eco‑Friendly Home Care. Each Product Manager will own end‑to‑end lifecycle management within an assigned category, driving cross‑functional execution and retail‑focused go‑to‑market success.
This role is based in Pomona; candidates within a reasonable commuting distance are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do- Own assigned product lines within a defined category or portfolio, from concept and development through launch and lifecycle management
- Partner with external manufacturing and sourcing teams to support development timelines, cost targets, and product readiness
- Translate consumer insights, category trends, and retailer needs into product direction
- Manage item setup, pricing, lifecycle changes, and product documentation
- Maintain accurate line lists, item masters, packaging specifications, and product data
- Develop product briefs that position products clearly for retail success
- Support brick‑and‑mortar and omnichannel retail strategies within your assigned category
- Partner closely with Sales on retailer requirements, line reviews, PDPs, and samples
- Ensure strong shelf presence through thoughtful pricing, packaging, and positioning
- Understand how products compete and win within retail assortments
- Partner with Sourcing, Creative, Sales, and Operations to bring products to market
- Manage timelines, trackers, and cross‑functional communication
- Coordinate packaging copy, artwork, dielines, and sample approvals
- Conduct competitive research on pricing, features, and trends
- Monitor retailer assortments (in‑store and online) to identify growth opportunities
- Use consumer and market insights to inform product decisions and category evolution
- Identify category and channel white space opportunities
- Support pricing decisions and margin analysis within assigned categories
- Manage UPCs, compliance requirements, and system accuracy
- 3–6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Commercialization, or Innovation within CPG
- Direct experience within formulated or ingredient‑driven CPG categories such as Personal Care (shampoos, conditioners, wipes, bar and liquid soaps) or Home Care products (household cleaners, laundry, dish, pest control, insect repellents, lawn and garden products, and eco or sustainable consumer products)
- Strong understanding of multi‑channel retail and omnichannel go‑to‑market strategies
- Ability to use consumer insights to inform product positioning and category growth
- Proven ability to manage multiple products and timelines in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
