Position Summary
BYLT Premium Basics is hiring a Retail Stylist. The ideal candidate is customer‑service oriented and is passionate about people. This individual will inspire to be a product expert to educate, inform, and outfit the customer for any occasion. They will have a BYLT for you mindset and be a true ambassador of the brand.

Responsibilities- Actively greet and engage with customers on the sales floor to provide the best customer experience
- Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Maintain a neat and tidy sales floor, folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments per BYLT’s guidelines to maximize selling opportunities
- Inform clients of current promotions and future merchandise of potential interest
- Respond to customers’ questions
- Administer financial transactions by processing payments by cash, gift cards, store credit or other credit and debit cards
- Alert management of potential security issues
- Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication skills and ability to utilize technology effectively with customers and team to meet goals
- Problem‑solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement, open to feedback, and proactive action
- Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally
- Use basic inquiry skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training

- 1 year or more of retail experience
- Cash handling skills and Point of Sales systems experience
- Ability to lift or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
- Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Employees are regularly required to talk or hear, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Employees occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
