Job SummaryThis position is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers in developing sales, profits, and relationships with Commercial clients. This position will be working with the Branch Manager to fully realize the sales potential in HVAC and Building Automation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Insures that Account Managers meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Managers.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples for Account Managers in personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Mentors and coaches the team to build motivation and selling skills.
- Maintains contact with key clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- Initiates and coordinates the development of an action plan to penetrate new markets.
- Conducts one‑on‑one reviews with Account Managers to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for improving sales and activity performance.
- Prepares sales forecast and activity reports for management.
- Provides and maintains accurate records of pricing, sales, activity reports, and proposals submitted by Account Managers.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations, RFP responses, and monthly sales meetings.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Prepare and conduct annual professional sales development training and prepare Coaching and Action plans.
- Associates Degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience required, B.A. / B.S. desired.
- 7+ years of sales experience required.
- Good time management, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, Dynamics, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Geographic DisclosureCompensation Range: $170,000 - $190,000 per year
