As a Business Account Manager, you will strategically manage and cultivate SMB, Mid-Market, training opportunities, and key business initiatives with high-level regional and B2B management teams within their assigned market. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining an advanced carrier and business market matrix to effectively influence carrier partners on client products.

- Manage strategic relationships within assigned carrier business channels (SMB, Mid-Market) by cultivating and maintaining high-level market contacts to propose, negotiate, and facilitate B2B product training.
- Collaborate with carrier business client contacts to drive and support key product initiatives within the assigned market.
- Carrier Business Event Oversight and Execution:
Plan, oversee, and participate in special B2B events such as product launches, kickoff meetings, and trade shows, ensuring impactful engagement and representation. - Facilitate and manage, pre-launch training sessions with B2B sellers for new devices at a national or regional level, effectively delivering content to both small and large groups (10-100 attendees), ensuring thorough comprehension and readiness.
- Drive attendance and engagement in region-wide webinar training sessions, providing ongoing support and resources. Regular office visits to engage with Mid-Market sellers.
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with mid to upper-level carrier business field management within the assigned carrier channel, fostering collaborative success.
- Provide detailed reports on market trends and competitive activities within the carrier’s business channels, offering insights and recommendations for strategic advantage.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive business contact matrix for assigned carriers and markets to effectively educate, advocate, and persuade business carrier partners to recommend handsets over competitors.
- Manage carrier sales funnel, track supported partner sales opportunities, generate carrier sales and sales leads through carrier partnerships/relationships.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in B2B sales (carrier preferred), marketing, business administration is preferred or equivalent experience
- 2 + years of training experience regarding selling technical devices or products
- 3+ years of previous wireless service and device sales experience and B2B preferred.
- 2+ years of previous experience working with carrier B2B sales teams.
Skills and Attributes:
- High degree of independent judgment and strategic thinking to effectively manage relationships, drive initiatives, and deliver impactful training and presentations.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and persuade senior-level stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of wireless technologies, data devices, and data solutions, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling sales propositions.
- Proficiency in various sales methodologies and the ability to articulate compelling value propositions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
