The Director of Sales is responsible for driving business growth through the identification of new opportunities, development of strategic client relationships, and execution of sales initiatives across corporate payment and incentive solutions. This role requires a strong customer-focused mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and proven success selling to middle market and enterprise-level clients.
Key Responsibilities- Actively pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and industry events
- Promote and sell incentive, reward, and corporate payment programs to prospective clients
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and assess customer needs
- Prepare and deliver client presentations aligned with company requirements
- Track and report on sales activity, goals, forecasts, and prospect pipelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Ensure client satisfaction by exceeding service expectations and identifying expansion opportunities
- Represent JNR at conferences and events to grow business opportunities
- Negotiate and close deals while managing prospect concerns throughout the sales cycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support client success and organizational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling to Fortune 1000 companies
- Demonstrated experience selling to C-level decision makers
- Proven ability to build long-term corporate client relationships
- Professional, articulate, organized, and results-driven
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience selling SaaS platforms a plus
- Proven experience developing corporate payment and incentive programs
