Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the pioneer and widely recognized leader in Cloud Computing. The AWS SAP on AWS team seeks a Sales Specialist in Irvine, CA to extend customer relationships focused on SAP on AWS.

• Contribute to overall performance of the business within the assigned territory measured by revenue growth, net new customer wins, SAP migrations, and reference wins.
• Build a strategy focused on winning new customer segments and growing existing customer segments for the long term.
• Create and convey compelling value propositions, thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Work with the partner ecosystem to secure joint customers for new use cases, execute go‑to‑market programs, and further develop partnerships.
• Engage at the CXO level and interact with enterprise customers, partners, and the AWS field teams.
• Operate as a self‑starter, with experience in market development of cloud infrastructure and/or enterprise applications.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct/matrix sales, business development, and program management experience.
• Prior experience selling and growing SAP applications businesses.
• Experience working with SAP and SAP partners.
• Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
• 25% travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling SAP Applications, Technology, and Infrastructure.
• Track record of building rapport with senior customer executives (CEO, CIO, CTO) and closing large revenue accounts.
• Motivated self‑starter, proactive, and action‑oriented.
• Strategic problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross‑functional audiences.
• Experience working with cloud computing and related infrastructure.

The base pay ranges from $128,600 per year in the lowest geographic market up to $212,600 per year in the highest geographic market. Compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on relevant factors. Amazon is a total compensation company; equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided.
