Job Summary:

Weareageneralcontractorspecializinginpublicsectorprojects,nowexpandingintoprivatecommercialconstruction.

Ourheadquartersisin Southern California .Weareseekingahighlymotivated Business Developertospearheadourentryintothecommercialmarketbygeneratingleads ,securing contracts,andbuildingasalesprocessfromthegroundup.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Buildsandmaintainsanetworkofsourcesfromwhichtoidentifynewsalesleads.

Communicateswithcustomersandleadstoidentifyandunderstandtheirproductorserviceneeds;identifiesandsuggestsproductsandservicestomeetthoseneeds.

Demonstratesthefunctionsandutilityofproductsorservicestocustomersbasedontheirneeds.

Ensurescustomersatisfactionthroughongoingcommunicationandrelationshipmanagement;resolvesanyissuesthatmayarisepost-sale.

Maintainscommunicationwithexistingandpreviouscustomers,alertingthemofnewproducts,services,andenhancementsthatmaybeofinterest.

Maintainsdetailedreportsofsalesactivities,including calls,orders,sales,lostbusiness,andanycustomerorvendorrelationshipproblems.

Providesperiodicterritorysalesforecasts.

Performsotherdutiesasassigned.

Education and

Experience:

Bachelor’sdegreein

Marketing,Sales,Business,orrelatedfieldOR

Atleastfiveyearsofrelatedexperiencerequired.

Physical Requirements:

Prolongedperiodsofsittingatadeskandworkingonacomputer.

Mustbeabletolift
15poundsattimes.

Mustbeabletotravel.

Compensation Structure:

Toensurealignmentwithcompanygrowth,compensationisstructuredasfollows:

Base Salary:

Moderate(tobediscussedbasedonexperience).

Performance-Based Commission:

Percentageofnetprofitfromprivatecommercialcontracts(B2B) securedbythe

Business

Developer.

Bonus Milestones:

Additionalincentivesforhittingrevenueorcontractgoals(Securingacertainamountinnewcontractswithinayear).
