Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and prospect engagement. In this role, you will identify potential clients, build early relationships with key decision-makers, and create qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and is interested in building a successful career in sales.

Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting across phone, email, Linked In, and other channels.

Research target accounts and identify the right contacts to engage.

Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, priorities, and level of interest.

Schedule meetings for Account Executives and support the development of a strong sales pipeline.

Maintain accurate activity and lead records in CRM and sales tools.

Follow up consistently to keep prospects engaged and move conversations forward.

Partner with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach efforts and support pipeline growth.

Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to strengthen prospecting conversations.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
1 or more years of experience in outbound prospecting/sales, business development, lead generation, or another customer-facing role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Confidence engaging with prospective clients and initiating conversations.

High-resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a performance-driven environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Comfort using CRM systems and sales tools.

Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow in a sales career.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, HR technology, or business services is preferred.

Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification practices is helpful.

Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Gong Engage, 6sense, Linked In Sales Navigator, or similar platforms is a plus.

Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured by outbound activity, meetings booked, qualified opportunities created, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and the accuracy of CRM updates.

Career Path

This role offers a strong foundation for growth into Account Executive, Sales Leadership, or other revenue-focused roles based on performance and development.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $56,800 to $71,000 + commission (role has a 60/40 pay mix). Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position is eligible to participate in a commission plan.
