Regional Sales Specialist - Southern, CA
Pay Range: $,000 base plus bonuses
Oakmont Management Group is a fast-growing, trailblazer luxury senior living provider. We are looking for a self‑starter who is comfortable in a fast environment, based in the California region.
Job OverviewAs a Regional Sales Specialist, you will work in parallel to the Corporate Marketing Director to establish and carry out marketing plans at each community, ensuring sales processes and onsite marketing efforts are completed thoroughly and effectively.
Responsibilities- Provide sales support to the community when needed.
- Provide ongoing training to the sales staff as needed.
- Oversee sales process at the property level, including Oakmont Tour Experience and Tour Process;
Concierge Welcoming Standards, Tour Tree, Phone Calls, Mail Out, and Sales Productivity Goals. - Implement Networking Strategy, Effectiveness, and Productivity.
- Lead all Sales and Special Events such as Luncheons, VIP and Grand Openings, Open Houses, Resident Referral Parties, etc.
- In tandem with Marketing Directors, create and oversee marketing budget and plan for each community.
- Maintain Hold/Sold status reports by ensuring communities send accurate, timely data.
- Evaluate lead‑to‑tour and tour‑to‑deposit ratios; train and follow up appropriately.
- Manage direct mail lists for each community through high‑speed marketing or selected vendor.
- Establish inside and outside sales call expectations and monitor efficiency at each community.
- Help plan and participate in annual sales meetings.
- Provide ongoing training on special programs.
- Help create and maintain marketing process and procedures manual.
- Conduct mystery shops by hiring a company to ensure quality control.
- Establish and train all new development sales teams, and provide additional support as needed.
- Communicate regularly with Executive Directors to discuss performance of the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years working in the senior industry in a sales capacity.
- Experience with direct sales in Memory Care and Assisted Living.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
- Must pass criminal record clearance and health and drug screening.
- Willing and able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
