Role DescriptionMatterport is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive who is enthusiastic and performance‑driven to sell our products and services across several industries, including AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality. The candidate must have a solid track record of success, be fluent in the latest market trends, and be comfortable working with technical content while thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
This role will be based out of our Irvine, CA office.
- Proactively look for opportunities to sell the Matterport Product offering.
- Build a pipeline of business, repeat opportunities, and accurately forecast weekly and monthly sales pipelines.
- Engage distributors, understand customer needs, and identify solutions to customers with our product offering.
- Attend sales meetings and prepare presentations when required.
- Attend relevant trade shows when required.
- Lead product (hardware/software) demonstrations to provide potential customers with details about the features and capabilities of our Pro 3D camera.
- Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for distributors, potential customers, and the management team.
- Make sales and technical presentations to potential customers via both web and on‑site presentations, as required.
- Report to the Sales Manager with sales progress, pipeline utilization, and manage SFDC (Salesforce) to discover leads and create new business.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 8+ years of Enterprise or Mid‑Market sales experience.
- Proven track record in sales or business development.
- History of achieving revenue‑based sales quotas (SaaS, ARR).
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (both in‑person and virtually).
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start; driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
- Experience with value‑based selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
- Ability to identify strategic client pains and develop unique and compelling value propositions that focus on delivering business value to the client.
- Great at building relationships and working within a team‑selling environment.
- Experience working in commercial or residential real estate, insurance or restoration, construction, or travel industries, demonstrating an understanding of the utility of our products.
- Prior experience working at or with technology companies.

Salary:
This position offers an annual base salary range of $80,000–$110,000 based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous commission and benefits plan.
