Circuit Assembly is an Irvine-based electronics manufacturer with 50+ years building custom connectors, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and box builds for the aerospace, defense, military, and medical industries.
PurposeThe Customer Service Specialist plays a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients by serving as a primary point of contact for communication, feedback, and follow-up. This role ensures customer satisfaction by aligning internal teams with client expectations, identifying opportunities to support sales growth, and contributing to the execution of strategic account objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Focuses on customer support and satisfaction through purchase order processes, scheduling, shipment confirmations, and follow-up support. Is the liaison between customers and multiple departments including but not limited to purchasing, production, quality, and accounting for all manufacturing sites.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships in a collaborative way that results in customer satisfaction, sales growth, and achieves revenue objectives using creative problem-solving strategies.
- Support sales, manufacturing, procurement, and product delivery time frames and schedules.
- Analyzes and communicates product costs, margins, and customer requirements in a collaborative environment.
- Supports Regional Sales Managers by providing pricing, quotes, delivery updates, and customer feedback.
- Generate sales reports for weekly review and strategic customer support to senior management (sales projections and backlog reports, etc.).
Prior relevant experience is the #1 qualification. We prioritize candidates with:
- 2-4+ years in customer service/account support within contract manufacturing, EMS, or an allied industry (aerospace, defense, or medical customers a strong plus)
- A demonstrated track record of driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth
- Experience communicating pricing, quotes, product costs, and margins in a B2B setting
- Strong analytical skills and experience building sales and backlog reports
- 2-4+ years relevant experience (required)
- BA in Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI tools a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
- Excellent prioritization and follow-up
This is an on-site role at our Irvine office, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Depending on Experience
