The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new client revenue. In this role you will lead the full-cycle sales process targeting Large and Midsize Dental & Healthcare Practices. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role is a key component of MMM’s national revenue growth and industry expansion.
Business Development & Deal Execution- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, email outreach and market research
- Own a book of high target prospects consistently driving new opportunities to close through the sales funnel
- Schedule and deliver high quality consultation meetings with Healthcare Practice Owners and Managers
- Navigate multi-location healthcare groups, ownership teams, and enterprise-style buying processes
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships
- Maintain accurate forecasting, clean CRM data, and disciplined stage progression
- Stay informed on market trends and developments in the healthcare industry
- Meet and exceed daily and monthly activity metrics (calls, meetings, new opportunities)
- Represent at industry trade shows, conferences, and events throughout the year (3-6 a year)
- Travel domestically to meet with healthcare practices and decision-makers across the U.S. when needed
- Deliver compelling in-person and virtual presentations to healthcare groups, ownership teams, and administrators
- Build and nurture strategic relationships that expand MMM’s footprint within the healthcare sector
- Partner with sales director and marketing department to maximize ROI from trade shows and field-based selling efforts
