We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Direct Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in growing an assigned portfolio of customers, ensuring exceptional service, and driving sales of specialty branded merchandise, such as embroidered polo shirts, jackets, and other products. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to building relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

• Provide concierge-level customer service to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Respond to customer and internal queries promptly, aiming for a 24-hour turnaround time.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude with customers and team members.
• Address and resolve customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers through open and proactive communication.
• Drive growth and profitability for assigned accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and retention strategies.
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities, leveraging leads within 24 hours of receipt.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to meet personal and team sales targets.
• Provide quotes and customized solutions to customers within field authority pricing guidelines.
• Foster collaboration with plant teams to maximize sales opportunities.

• Set up and maintain customer accounts, including online stores, pricing, and product options.
• Train customers on using online web stores and encourage adoption of automated systems.
• Process orders, modifications, and payments in a timely and accurate manner (within 24-48 hours).
• Collaborate with internal departments and external decorators to ensure seamless execution of customer requests.
• Create and manage artwork proofs, mock-ups, and custom designs for customer review and approval.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate customer records in systems such as Uniform Market/Seller’s Commerce, Net Suite, Shipworks and ABS.

• Generate invoices and collect payments for orders.
• Follow up on past-due invoices and achieve monthly accounts receivable goals.
• Address and resolve billing inquiries professionally and efficiently.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
• Proven customer service experience, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality.
• Experience with programs such as Net Suite, ABS, and supplier portals is a plus.
• Experience working in a spreadsheet environment (Microsoft Excel)
