The Immunology/Immunosafety group in the Department of Local Delivery Translational Sciences is seeking an Associate Scientist I, Immunology.
Responsibilities- Perform cell‑based assays and ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
- Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot immunoassays and cell‑based assays to support biologic therapeutics portfolio
- Order lab supplies and experimental materials; maintain lab instruments
- Other job assignments as needed
- Act proactively, inquisitively, and as a self‑starter in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences (e.g., Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field) and preferably one year of industry experience
- Hands‑on laboratory experience in cell culture, flow cytometry assays, basic immunology assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex), and primary cell isolation and culture
- Knowledge of basic cell biology, immunology, or pharmacology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple activities and meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to maintain excellent working relationships and commitment to integrity and accountability
