Product Development Technician

On-Board Services is hiring a Product Development Technician in Irvine, CA.

Position Details:

    Product Development Technician
  • Position Type: 6-month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
  • Job Location:

    Irvine, CA
  • Shift: 1st Shift

  • Compensation: $35/HR

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and perform technical procedures to support the development of materials for electronics applications.
  • Assist with product development projects under the guidance of supervisors.
  • Follow all laboratory safety procedures while maintaining strong laboratory practices and accurate documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and document experimental data using the Albert digital system.
  • Communicate project progress, results, and observations promptly to supervisors.
  • Support research activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience working with laboratory equipment, machines, and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
