Salary:
The salary range for this position is $69,073 - $82,836. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step ‑scale salaries may be offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

The Clean Energy Institute (CEI) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions ranging from basic science of energy (e.g., electrochemistry, combustion kinetics) to applied energy research (e.g., fuel cells, gas turbines, smart grids). These positions require a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and/or Aerospace Engineering. Initial appointments are for two years, and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support.
Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including service at other institutions.
