Pay: II: $30-34/hour III:$34.00 – $38.00/hour
Overview Our client is an industry-leading company at the forefront of analytical and pharmaceutical sciences, driving innovation in raw material testing, method development, and quality compliance within a cGMP-regulated environment. In this role, you will perform and assist with analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, while utilizing a wide range of advanced laboratory instrumentation. You'll play a key role in method development and validation, equipment qualification, and supporting laboratory management through training, audits, and the authoring of standard operating procedures.
Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or assist with analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Utilize analytical laboratory instrumentation with supervision
- Comply with cGMP regulations and follow all standard operating procedures
- Peer review data generated by other technicians
- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods
- Conduct method transfers from other facilities and departments
- Author standard operating procedures and analytical methods
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation within level of experience
- Perform and/or assist with equipment calibrations and qualifications
- Assist laboratory management with employee training
- Assist laboratory management in preparation for internal, customer, and agency audits
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
- 2-5+ years of experience in a chemistry laboratory, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-5+ years of experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, CE, ICP, FTIR, TOC, MS, and dissolution apparatus
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire and ability to work in a positive team environment
