This role focuses on supporting environmental consulting projects that help communities become cleaner and more resilient. As an Air Quality Monitoring Consultant based in Irvine, CA, you will contribute to projects that help clients meet air reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
You will work with local and global experts to deliver best-practice solutions, prepare high-quality reports and presentations for technical teams and senior leaders, and support Jacobs’ quality standards. The role also involves using your technical knowledge to develop project delivery strategies, strengthen client relationships, and promote safety, quality, and team well-being.
You may travel up to 50% for client meetings, workshops, presentations, or site visits. While the role is mainly office-based, occasional field assignments may be required.
What You’ll Need- At least 1 year of professional experience in air quality monitoring and reporting, preferably in consulting.
- Experience with onsite installations and support for monitoring operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Familiarity with state and federal air regulations and regulatory processes.
- Experience developing, reviewing, and implementing work plans and quality assurance project plans.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Air quality project experience, including permitting, modeling, monitoring, and reporting, preferably in consulting.
