What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, retailers and/or guests by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when needed and assisting with crowd management as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, loading zones and parking areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity to help deter policy violations, theft-related activity and/or disorderly conduct, and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Complete required shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports and activity reports, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
