Overnight Front Desk/Front Gate Associate – Marquee Park Place association, Irvine, CA.

Schedule

Front Desk:
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Front Gate:
Monday & Tuesday: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Compensation

$19 to $20 per hour

Job Summary

The purpose of a Front Desk/Front Gate Associate is to maintain the front desk and lobby area, provide a constant security presence inside the gatehouse and respond as necessary to the needs of the property. Front Gate Associates must ensure that access is controlled, the HOA’s rules are followed, and the property is well maintained. They must always display a professional appearance, speak politely, and respond to phones and visitors with a clear tone.

What

You’ll Do
  • Report concerns to Management, Engineering or Janitorial as appropriate.
  • Represent Action Property Management by greeting residents, guests, and other visitors at the gatehouse in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Be familiar with the parking structure.
  • Answer phones and greet all residents and guests as they enter or exit the property.
  • Maintain the appearance kiosk area by ensuring it is organized and clean at all times; summon janitorial or maintenance staff when needed.
  • Note accurately any issues or information throughout the shift in the Daily Activity Report; read the pass‑on log and relevant e‑mails; communicate with co‑workers to guarantee a smooth shift transition.
  • Follow procedures so residents receive their parcels, document acceptance of parcels and other deliveries.
  • Document reports of disturbances; evaluate the situation and contact the proper authority (Police, Fire Department, Management) to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate resident moves within Association approved hours; ensure Common Areas are adequately protected.
  • Operate the Elevator Control System so guests, contractors and other visitors are sent to the correct floor.
  • Utilize and implement the Front Desk Procedures Manual, Shift Inventory Log and Pass‑On Log.
  • Monitor an adequate inventory of forms, supplies and other gatehouse items; notify Supervisor when replenishment is needed.
  • Observe building activity via surveillance cameras and report suspicious or abnormal activity to staff, management, building security or Law Enforcement; prepare detailed documentation of incidents per procedures.
  • Report complaints, nuisance reports and non‑compliance issues to Management per post instructions; submit Incident Reports when necessary.
  • Understand and implement Emergency Procedures; coordinate communications with residents and emergency personnel during fire, flooding, earthquake or other emergencies.
  • Follow all post instructions and adhere to the Association’s Governing Documents, CC&Rs, Rules and Regulations, and all policies and evacuation procedures.
Who You Are (Skills/Experience)
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of security experience
  • Preferred background in hospitality or luxury property management
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking; solution oriented
  • High attention to detail
  • Personable and capable of building rapport with residents and guests
  • Team player
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
