Position Type: Full Time / Mix shift

Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic logistics areas, verifying authorized access and following post orders related to visitor, driver, and/or vendor activity.
• Support daily operations at the location by observing for security-related issues, reporting hazards or disruptions, and assisting with directions and general assistance when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
