As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour / Day Shift

Job Schedule:

Monday – Friday 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe foot traffic, and support property rules and visitor policies in a professional manner consistent with location expectations.
• Assist with addressing customer concerns, directing visitors, and coordinating with property management and/or public emergency responders when needed.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
