  Full Time Security Team Lead
• Site:
  Seneca Polytechnic - York Campus
• Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
• Hours:
  
  Rotating Continental (0630 - 1830 / 1830 - 0630)
• Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour

• Supervise and coordinate Security Guard activities in academic buildings, residence, and event spaces
• Cross‑campus learning and collaboration with York U partners
• Assign and monitor patrols, access control, and incident response
• Foster cross‑functional teamwork with York Security and campus partners
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely, accurate reporting
• Provide frontline support during special events, guest speakers, and high‑profile campus activities
• Mentor new staff and deliver in‑service training
• Ensure adherence to Seneca and York U security policies
• Support a welcoming and inclusive team culture

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ontario Security Guard License
• First Aid/CPR
• Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
• Ability to handle fast‑paced, diverse campus demands
• Prior post‑secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
• Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
• Must not be a current Seneca student at Newnham
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to onboarding training
• Paladin will cover all of the costs of training with a 6‑month commitment to the position/availability
