As a Security Officer Mall Center Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants.

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, exterior walkways, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, property concerns, and maintenance‑related issues according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic and parking‑related observations, and visitor directions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
