As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Open-Air Shopping
in Irvine, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and tenants. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, common areas, parking locations, building exteriors, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
