Candidate is required to travel via plane to do 2‑week training in Arizona.

  • Monday – Thursday every week
  • 6:00pm–4:30am
  • Friday 5:00pm–1:30am
  • Occasional Saturdays

  • The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Irvine, CA hauling site.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
  • Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
  • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
  • Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work.
  • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
