Overview

An AV Technician installs low-voltage systems in residential projects. Responsible for initial rough-in wiring, device trim and verification, final installation and debugging.

• Rough-in:
  Adhere to engineered design documentation to place wire in locations for all system devices. Able to safely use power tools, ladders. Able to read and follow architectural plans for device layout. Fast, efficient, accurate, and neat at all times.
• Trimout:
  Terminate, verify, label system wiring. Install AV devices following system documentation.
• Final Installation:
  Follow schematic documentation for AV rack building. Installation and setup of AV equipment. System trouble-shooting and debugging. Integration with sub-systems.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Custom Residential AV installation
• Deep familiarity with Savant, Crestron
• Knowledge of network configuration and setup a plus
