Summary DescriptionAs a Fire & Security Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and security systems in various construction environments. You will work closely with other team members and clients to ensure all systems are installed and functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and security systems (including Notifier, S2, Brivo) on construction sites.
- Diagnose and repair issues with fire and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety codes and regulations.
- Conduct system upgrades and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide client training on system operation and maintenance.
- This position includes participation in an On Call Rotation as part of regular duties.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- NICET Certification (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) in Fire Alarm Systems is required.
- Knowledge and experience with Notifier, S2 Security Systems, and Brivo access control systems is a plus.
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems in construction settings.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Carrying 0–20 Lbs. – Occasionally (0–3 hours/daily)
