Position: Maintenance Tech IV - Plumber (Outside Candidates)
The Irvine Unified School District comprises a diverse population of more than 36,000 PK-12 students in one early childhood learning center, 24 elementary schools, five K-8 schools, six middle schools, five high schools and one alternative high school. Under the supervision of the Administrator of Maintenance, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing equipment and related systems; maintains plumbing lines in safe and sanitary working condition. EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved apprenticeship program in the plumbing trade and three years journey-level experience as a plumber in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems. IUSD offers a comprehensive health benefits program for employees who work 30 hours or more per week. The district pays most of the cost of medical and dental insurance for all eligible employees.
