Job Summary
The Facilities Supervisor position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment ensuring upmost safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This position requires technical skills, sound judgement, and good interpersonal skills. Additionally, this position coordinates and maintains company day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment as required to support the business.
It also will lead the staff on the facilities team with the common goal to keep everyone in the division safe, ensure uptime of all equipment, drive continuous improvement, and minimize downtime throughout the facility.
- Supervise facilities staff, schedule and assign duties, and maintain facilities ticket registry. Reviews and assigns facilities requests to other technicians in the department. Escalates urgent matters to management for review.
- Write and facilitate annual staff performance reviews.
- Schedule and support outside contractor activities within the facility. Coordinates with outside contractors and vendors to provide quotes, complete repairs and services of plant equipment and facilities.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production and plant facility's equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling and lift equipment in performing duties.
- Safety committee team member supporting ongoing safety improvement measures.
- Haz Mat and other Safety Support as required
- Comply with safety regulations, Safety 1st practices, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Leads and trains others in the department in performing general maintenance tasks and procedures.
- Performs facilities maintenance including repairs, modifications, and installation of equipment, light mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repair, carpentry, and other related tasks as assigned.
- On Call after hours for building and or machine issues.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four‑year college or university or equivalent, and a minimum of seven (8) years related experience.
MUST BE A US CITIZENMust be a US Citizen.
Pay, Benefits, Work ScheduleCompetitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $83,250 to $138,550 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
