Job Description SummaryResponsible to assist with the operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.
Job Description- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop and grounds equipment, and HVAC.
- Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and implement savings opportunities.
- Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment.
- Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
- Comply with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency directives, and company policies for building operations and safe work habits.
- Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems.
- Complete required C&W Safety Training annually.
- Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code, maintaining a neat and clean appearance on and off duty.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
- Technical, vocational, or on‑the‑job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
- Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) with a good driving record and periodic checks.
- Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Possibility of being the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods without relief during priority or emergency situations, including overtime engagements, shift work, or on‑call duties.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others and exchange accurate information, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, move about the workplace, remain in a stationary position for 10% of the time, and extend hands and arms in any direction.

The compensation for the position is $27.20 – $32.00 per hour. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
