Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role based in Orange County, CA. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings, following applicable codes and safety regulations. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring and rewiring circuits, installing outlets, panels, fixtures, and other components, and performing routine inspections. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting tests with appropriate tools, and completing troubleshooting and repair work.
The Electrician will interact with clients and team members, provide clear updates on work progress, and ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
- Residential CA JW or CA General Electrical JW License holder
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to field work.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installations, wiring, panel work, and component replacement.
- Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in various settings.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
- Valid electrician license or certification in California, and familiarity with NEC and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company safety policies.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Irvine, CA, and ability to work full-time on-site.
- Good communication skills, professional conduct with clients, and ability to work both independently and as part of a crew.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varied environments.
