Solar Installer

ETW Energy is looking for a Solar Installer who takes pride in consistent, high-quality work. As a contributing member of an installation crew, you’ll work alongside the Foreman and Lead Installer to complete residential solar projects the right way.

Previous solar or construction experience is a plus — but it’s not required. We’ll train the right person who brings a safety-first attitude and a strong work ethic.

• Establish and maintain a safety-first job site — follow safety processes, wear PPE, and support crew safety training
• Keep an orderly, clean job site and a customer-focused attitude; leave it better than you found it
• Under the direction of the Foreman and Lead Installer, lay out and assemble materials, mounts, electrical, and tools for an efficient install
• Follow designated processes to complete installs on time, with the accuracy and quality that prevents post-installation issues
• Properly weather-seal mounting, connections, and structures to prevent water intrusion
• Attend training on new processes, products, and safety practices

• High-school education or equivalent
• Previous solar or construction experience preferred, but not required
• A safety advocate who encourages safe work, sets the standard, and reports violations
• Proven ability to deliver stable, consistent, predictable results
• Able to stay focused and good-humored in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs with assistance) and work on rooftops of varying pitch in all weather conditions
