Technical Manager, Software Engineering Location

Irvine, CA (hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

You will have a direct impact on highly visible Homes web applications that touch millions of users. You will continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply those learnings to improve Homes’ software products. You will support multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as  and

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university or college (preferably in Computer Science or a related field)
• Track record of commitment to prior employers
• 10+ years of development experience
• Solid web development and troubleshooting skills
• Solid experience with C#, ASP.NET, and databases
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React
• Experience developing server‑side rendered and single‑page web applications
• Experience in fast‑paced Agile Scrum environments
• Strong project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers and senior management)
• Excellent team‑building, consensus‑building abilities
• Ability to motivate and build high‑performance software development teams

• 2+ years of team leadership experience
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, SQS, Aurora, Lambda)
• Experience with MySQL, Dynamo
  
  DB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• Commercial real estate knowledge is a bonus
