Senior Software Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite, 5 days/week)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable, cloud‑native systems that power mission‑critical applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in distributed architectures, modern Dev Ops practices, and AI‑assisted development. You will influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and help drive engineering excellence across the organization.

• Design, implement, and operate distributed, microservice‑based systems with clear service boundaries and robust contracts.
• Build cloud‑native services that scale horizontally and meet high‑availability and fault‑tolerance requirements.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and automated testing frameworks to support continuous delivery.
• Implement containerized workloads and manage production environments using orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Engineer systems for resilience, including graceful degradation, retries, and circuit‑breaking patterns.
• Establish observability through metrics, logging, and tracing using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Collaborate in agile development cycles, delivering incremental value and adapting to evolving requirements.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience building and operating cloud‑native applications in production environments.
• Proficiency with AI‑augmented engineering workflows (e.g., code generation, debugging, test automation, log anomaly detection).

• Practical experience integrating machine learning or AI models into production systems.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or ISO 9001.
• Strong understanding of microservices security, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, secrets management, zero‑trust principles, and secure API design.

• Experience with Python for AI/ML using frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or Lang Chain.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI and LLMs, including fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, and deploying RAG‑based solutions.
