For our debut game, MARVEL SNAP, we’ve partnered with Marvel. We’ve got other exciting projects in the works, and this role is a chance to be part of something new and special at the company. The Project (It’s a New Game!)We are on a journey to build a brand new Ultra Fun game. This is a major multiplatform (mobile-first) free-to-play game designed to be played, loved, and experienced for years to come. It has elements familiar to fans of our previous titles and some ideas that push into new territory. Our prototype team is fun, experienced, scrappy, and values collaboration to create the next generation of cross-platform free-to-play games.
We highly regard UI/UX craft and believe specialty is a crucial part of building accessible games with depth.
As a prototype team, this is a contract role that could become permanent if the project moves into full production later this year. We invite you to dive in, roll up your sleeves, and join the journey with us!
This is a 3-month contract to start (with possible extension), but it could evolve into a full-time position if mutually a good fit.
What You’ll Do- Provide vision for the game's UI/UX, ensuring alignment with the game's creative vision and player experience goals
- Prototype ideas quickly to test flows, layouts, and interactions
- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to integrate UI/UX into the overall game design
- Implement player feedback to refine and optimize the UI/UX throughout the development process
- Create interactive prototypes and wireframes to test and iterate on design concepts
- Design tests and utilize data to refine and optimize the UI/UX throughout the development process
- Drive visual consistency and quality across all surfaces and devices (mobile, PC, etc.)
- Give and receive feedback in a low-ego, high-iteration team environment
- Make it look and feel great
- Put it in the build
- You have crafted intuitive and fun User Interfaces on PC and/or Mobile
- You can render high-quality UI elements
- You like working directly in a game engine
- You can help shape the UI/UX of a potential blockbuster from day one
- You are excited to join a scrappy team that is bold with big ideas and iterates quickly

Compensation & TermsThis position pays a range of $90 - $100 per hour (USD). Individual pay within this range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
This role is contracted through a third-party that provides health benefits, etc., which your recruiter can discuss more during the hiring process.
