As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will take a primary role in researching, developing, and maintaining mission-critical software systems supporting secure, large-scale data transfer between embedded Linux platforms and cloud-based services.

You will lead the end-to-end architectural design and evolution of our digital applications and data platform strategy, focusing on next-generation systems for over-the-air (OTA) software delivery, media content management, and digital marketplaces. This role requires a balance of "hands-on" expert-level coding in Golang and high-level technical leadership, providing mentorship and strategic guidance to engineering teams.

• Architectural Ownership:
  Lead end-to-end design for global media workflows, targeted advertising platforms, and OTA delivery systems. Develop strategic implementation plans for distributed and cloud-integrated systems.

• Design & Documentation:
  Author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), functional block diagrams, and data/logic flowcharts. Translate complex system specifications into secure, modular, and scalable software.

• Development & Optimization:
  Code, test, and refine software—primarily in Golang—to improve performance, reliability, and bandwidth efficiency in constrained or unreliable network environments.

• Networking & Security Design:
  Architect secure data pipelines using socket programming and Pub/Sub models. Ensure all designs meet rigorous security, encryption, and performance requirements.

• Cloud & Modernization:
  Drive strategic system migration and modernization initiatives, including the adoption of AWS cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads.

• Technical Leadership:
  Act as a mentor and source of information for the engineering team. Lead multi-functional teams to achieve positive results for complex, multi-dimensional projects.

• Strategic Advisory:
  Provide technical guidance on build vs. buy decisions, vendor integrations, and the business…
