Overview
Our new global headquarters is located in Irvine, CA near John Wayne Airport. The office offers amenities such as restaurants, shops, running trails, fitness deck, outdoor seating, dry cleaning, car wash, parking, charging stations, shuttle service, and outdoor games.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud‑based systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and implement optimal cloud solutions.
- Modify and improve existing systems and infrastructure.
- Maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices and security policies.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Review existing systems and recommend improvements.
- Interact with clients to provide cloud support and recommendations.
- Support architectural patterns, POCs, and frameworks for the PAC cloud, including infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and tooling.
- Collaborate with other teams to deploy services and recommend best practices.
- Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of development requests in the product backlog.
- Own projects and lead design discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of software development experience using Java, Python, Node.js, or PHP.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying solutions in native AWS environments.
- Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Dynamo
DB, Cognito, Cloud Formation, SQS, SES, etc. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification (or equivalent cloud certification).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS or EKS preferred.
- Experience with serverless architecture such as AWS Lambda and SAM.
- Proficiency in one of the company’s stack languages:
Python, Node.js, PHP (Laravel). - Understanding of security best practices (IAM, KMS, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Cloud Watch.
- Experience with large‑scale system design and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation or Terraform.
- Exposure to Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and web services (REST, RPC).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a team and across time zones.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
$154,000 – $258,000 annually (REQ‑154344)
