RoleSummary
As the Software System Engineer (Quality), you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing the software testing framework and ensuring consistency company‑wide. You will help identify software quality metrics and guidelines using the first‑principle mindset by referring to industry standards. Beyond testing, you might contribute to the enhancement of automation tools and infrastructure to support testing scalability. Responsibilities- Support the optimization of software testing framework
- Support the cross‑functional discussion to ensure the consistency of the testing ecosystem
- Optimize and document the software testing regression strategy and proper test environment (SIL, HIL, Unit)
- Ensure the end‑to‑end traceability of requirement, code and test cases
- Create and document the test guidelines and best practices
- Create and document the workflow to track the proper execution of testing activities
- Support the functional test metrics and code metrics development
- Support the static code analysis including identifying SW Tool, rule sets, evaluate test results
- Evaluate the test results and work with software developers to root cause failed test cases
- Over 3 years of software development experience within the automotive or equivalent industries
- Familiar with industry standards like ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA etc.
- Experience in system engineering practices such as requirements authoring, failure analysis and test development
- Experience in developing automotive software testing framework
- Experience in developing automotive software in C, C++
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. JAMA.), issue tracking tools (Jira), software version control tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with agile software development process
- Degree education in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity
- Experience working within a cross‑functional team
- Proven experience working on multiple projects
- Strong team player; drive to exceed expectations and meet deadlines
