What You’ll Be Doing
  • Capable of managing a team of developers, providing feedback and training where necessary, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring that technical initiatives align with organizational goals working closely with Principal Engineers / Development Directors.
  • As a Development Manager, lead, coach and mentor developers assigned to the product/project ensuring performance, maintainability, and functional requirements from design, development, testing to rollout and support.
  • Setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating professional development.
  • The Software Engineering Manager role involves hands‑on work and requires writing code.
  • Work with cross‑engineering staff, collaborating on hardware and system monitoring requirements to ensure expected performance and reliability of the application/system developed.
  • Proactively communicate and work to mitigate changes to project timelines, degradation in performance of applications, participate in Site Event Escalation process / on‑Call duties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for live site incidents, overseeing the triage process, conducting root cause analyses, and documenting and communicating incident reports, resolutions, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, mentor junior engineers, and implement both functional and non‑functional requirements of software systems.
  • Promote and integrate Dev Ops best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive live site rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 support coverage, training and mentoring team members.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or related industry experience.
Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience in business process automation applications.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Tech Lead.
  • 1-3 years of managing a team of developers.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in .Net, C#, Windows tools, ASP.net, and languages as well as modern web frameworks (Angular via Typescript, React).
  • Understanding of Relational and No

    SQL Databases, preferably MSSQL and Mongo

    DB, data modeling, and strong experience with ORM toolkits a must.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, Domain Driven Design, Test/Behavior Driven Design, Event Driven via asynchronous messaging approaches.
