Java Developer Kafka

Overview

Solugenix is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Kafka for a full-time, hybrid position based in Irvine, CA.

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong backend and frontend development expertise. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

Frameworks:

• Strong experience in API design and development (REST, Graph
  
  QL)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI/CD
• Proficient with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum practices

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka)
• Knowledge of Automation through Python

• Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using scalable architectures
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Angular, React, Type Script and Rest API services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features end-to-end
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices (code reviews, TDD, design patterns)
• Design and manage RESTful/Graph
  
  QL APIs and data schemas
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and oversee the deployment process using containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance
• Stay updated with industry trends and suggest architectural improvements

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $80/hour to $90/hour
. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
