We are looking for a software engineer with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a passion for pushing boundaries as part of an Agile SCRUM team. You will collaborate, communicate effectively, and deliver well-designed, efficient, and thoroughly tested software to ensure a seamless user experience. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating system components, software tools, and utilities.
  • Determine system software design requirements, generate engineering policies and procedures, and ensure successful implementation of system improvements for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight; coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals; mentor and train other engineers.
  • Build complex engineering solutions, take end-to-end ownership of solutions, and develop automation for testing and other quality aspects.
  • Collaborate with product owners and the Agile SCRUM team; shape new features and user stories; participate in code reviews; establish and maintain coding standards.
  • Engage in all Agile ceremonies and demonstrate a Dev Ops mindset; be accountable for products from inception to sunset.
  • Respond to production incidents to minimize outages; create or update documentation such as specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
  • Share knowledge across the team; translate customer and business needs into technical solutions; maintain resilience to change.
  • Establish user personas with product management; work independently with minimal supervision; guide associate engineers; participate in architecture summits; lead or support multiple projects with a broad, holistic view.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with IT emphasis (or master’s degree with relevant experience).
  • 10–15 years of technical experience (or 7–9 years with a master’s) including 5+ years in web services development as a full stack/integration developer.
  • Strong background in Java 8+ with experience developing REST APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Solid knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, JUnit, Maven, Sonar Qube, and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, Version One), version control (Bitbucket, Git, SVN), and web services/serialization (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, log management/APM tools (Splunk, Data Dog), and application of design patterns and non-functional qualities (resilience, maintainability).
  • Familiarity with Python, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Material-UI; test automation for front-end is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $ - $ per year. The range reflects potential base pay across the U.S.; actual pay depends on location, grade, and compensation plan. Base pay is commensurate with experience and role responsibilities. New hires generally fall in the bottom half of the range.
