Junior Full Stack Web Developer | Irvine, CA
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing technology team at a dynamic life sciences company based in Irvine, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build real-world experience working across both front-end and back-end development in a collaborative, product-driven environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop and maintain web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and IT
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment
- Support and enhance existing web platforms and internal tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices
- Experience or coursework in full-stack web development
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Laravel
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and database management (MySQL or similar)
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
Skills:
- Experience with Shopify site development, preferably in headless architecture.
- Experience with content management systems such as Sanity.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.
