Android Engineer; Kotlin

, a CoStar Group company, is building a new generation of home‑buying software and seeks an Android Engineer (Kotlin) to work in Irvine, CA on a 4 days onsite, 1 day remote schedule.

• Develop Android applications that scale to reach millions of users.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices for the company’s technology platform and development practices.
• Create user interface layouts for customers and design interfaces to backend web services.
• Design and develop highly reusable and maintainable systems and libraries.
• Understand the product architecture and frameworks, bringing ideas and improvements to the table.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other Android developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing Android applications.
• Expertise in Android technologies:
  Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Layout Editor.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, MVC, MVVM, and dependency injection.

• Passion for mobile applications and a desire to create engaging user experiences.
• Ability to translate ideas and code into flawless customer experiences.
