Location & Schedule

This position is located in Irvine, CA and requires a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

• Develop Android applications that scale to reach millions of users.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
• Work with the team to design user‑interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services.
• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable.
• Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and contribute innovative ideas.
• Collaborate with other Android developers and cross‑functional teams to exchange new ideas and improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
• Track record of commitment to prior employers.
• 3+ years of experience developing Android applications.
• Expert knowledge of Android, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Layout Editor, and a strong interest in learning, sharing, and mentoring.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection, etc.).

• Passion for mobile applications and a desire to make them engaging.
• Ability to translate ideas and code into an outstanding customer experience.

This position offers a base salary range of $98,000‑$164,000
, based on relevant skills and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits plan.
