Location & Schedule
This position is located in Irvine, CA and requires a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
Responsibilities- Develop Android applications that scale to reach millions of users.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
- Work with the team to design user‑interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services.
- Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable.
- Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and contribute innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with other Android developers and cross‑functional teams to exchange new ideas and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 3+ years of experience developing Android applications.
- Expert knowledge of Android, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Layout Editor, and a strong interest in learning, sharing, and mentoring.
- Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection, etc.).
- Passion for mobile applications and a desire to make them engaging.
- Ability to translate ideas and code into an outstanding customer experience.

This position offers a base salary range of $98,000‑$164,000
, based on relevant skills and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits plan.
