The Role:

Applied ML for Real-World Impact

They are seeking a hands‑on, results‑driven Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their client's AdTech Optimization team. This is an applied role focused heavily on impact, where deep technical judgment, modeling craft, and analytical depth converge to drive massive business results.

In this senior role, you will operate with strong autonomy and set technical direction within your area. You will own end‑to‑end ML work streams—using large, multi‑table datasets to build, iterate, and maintain predictive models that influence the core of the client's advertising business.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Model Implementation: Train and evaluate ML/AI models using proven libraries, focusing on swift delivery and short cycles of improvement.
  • Data & Feature Engineering: Analyze large-scale, multi‑table AdTech datasets across multiple sources to understand patterns and opportunity areas.
  • End-to-End Execution: Build and maintain data processing pipelines that generate features consistently and reproducibly.
  • Model Evolution: Retrain and improve existing models by introducing new features and suggestions, adapting smoothly to shifting market dynamics.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Partner closely with other engineering teams and PMs to communicate tradeoffs, explain model behavior, and align on rollouts.
  • Impact‑First Code: Elevate modeling standards across the broader team and contribute production‑quality code complete with tests, reviews, and documentation.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in ML Engineering, Data Science, or Applied ML with a strong background in model training.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong coding skills in Python and SQL. High comfort level working with large datasets, multi‑table joins, and online feature stores.
  • ML Craft: Proven experience building ML/AI models for optimization or prediction problems using standard, proven libraries. A solid understanding of feature engineering and how choices directly affect model performance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, clear communication skills, and the ability to execute independently with some guidance.
