SDET (Github, Copilot)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.

Leverage Git Hub Copilot to accelerate test case development, code generation, and automation scripting.

Develop and execute automated test scripts using modern SDET practices.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops).

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to define test strategies and automation scope.

Perform API testing, data validation, and backend verification.

Ensure high test coverage and reduce manual testing effort through automation. Identify defects proactively and support root cause analysis.

Drive quality engineering transformation initiatives using AI-assisted tools and best practices.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with API testing tools (Rest Assured, Postman, Karate).
• Practical experience using Git Hub Copilot for test script generation, code optimisation, refactoring, and automation productivity improvements.
• Experience in CI/CD integration and Dev Ops testing practices.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, test strategies, and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience in data validation and database testing (SQL).

SDET experience: 5–8 years.

Expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $148,500, with final salary dependent on location, skills, and experience. Eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off, and other leave options.
