Software Engineering & Development – State Street Bank and Trust Company, Irvine, CA
Hybrid telecommuting is permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Senior Analyst responsible for building enhancements to State Street’s internal suite of software applications. Duties include defining business requirements, creating technical specifications for developers, testing large‑scale software applications, and performing system integration and regression testing.

• Leverage a strong understanding of SDLC processes and project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Utilize freehand SQL and perform data extraction using Sybase.
• Work on multiple projects within a monthly release cycle, managing complex deadline‑driven projects with minimal supervision.
• Gather business requirements by coordinating activities between business users, developers, and managers.
• Develop functional specifications, test cases, and user cases; ensure functional, regression, integration, BUAT coverage, and complete documentation for each release.
• Meet with client senior managers to present business solutions and fine‑tune business processes.
• Manage and track project status; handle weekend release support and production support.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services trade flow and Corporate Actions processing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability with freehand SQL and data extraction.
• Experience working with multi‑location teams and independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi‑task in a dynamic, high‑demand environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Financial Services trade flow and Corporate Action processing.
• Solid understanding of relational database models.
• Project management skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience testing software designed for complex business scenarios.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and flexibility to adapt to guidelines.

$132,912 – $190,000 annually (primary location). Salary may differ for outside‑location candidates.
